Rapport Leipzig-project

Vandaag kreeg Amber het rapport over de post, van het Leipzig-project.
Hieronder enige citaten uit het rapport:

"With the European 'Youth in Action' Programme, a Youth Exchange is a project where young people work and live together in an international group for a specific time.
Young people from different countries and backgrounds co-operate with each other supported bij experienced youth workers and leaders. They develop personal, professional and intercultural competences.

The exchange project Familie(n)helden was developed and implemented in cooperation with the following partners:
- Stichting Kunstbende (NL);
- Galerie für Zeitgenössische Kunst (DE);
- Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam (NL).

Amber was one of the first ones to come up with an idea for her 'familie hero' photoshoot.
She knew immidiately that her mother should be topic of this project. And because Amber is a person who makes pictures of everything all the time she dit not complain about her material. She took a lot of pictures within the time frame of the project and by the help of the professionals she chose some very interesting ones to exhibit whithin the right concept of her idea:
'It's my fault, my fault, it's my own stupid fault.'-

Within the project Amber was Always keen on speaking German as well as English for a mutual understanding since the members of the partner group didn't know the Dutch language. By doing so, she really improved on her German and English, and at the end of the week she was really happy about this. Amber was very open towards the German culture which showed differences as well as similarities.

Within the exchange Amber showed up as a very cooperative, open minded and self-confident person. She is communicative and committed as she involved within the group, showed responsibility and was always aware of other members situations and able to intermediate. Besides she is a very pleasant, humorous and emphatic person which enriched the whole exchange a lot."
